Services
I provide Individual Therapy and Medication Management services for adults, offered either individually or as part of an integrated care model. Flexible session schedules are available in-person in Bethesda and via telehealth in Maryland, depending on your preference and needs.
Psychotherapy - I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, work or school stress, relationship and family concerns, and major life transitions - particularly those who are curious about themselves and open to exploring their inner world. I find meeting weekly tends to create the steadiness and continuity that allows our relationship to deepen - and real, lasting change to unfold.
Medication Management - If you are already working with a therapist you trust, I am happy to support your care through medication management. I work closely with your therapist to ensure that both aspects of your treatment are aligned and working together toward your well-being.
How to Use Out-Of-Network Benefits
Many PPO or Preferred Provider Organization still help cover part of the cost. Here’s what a few common terms mean, so you know what to ask your insurance company
In-Network vs. Out-of-network
In-network means a provider has a contract with you insurance company and agreed to a set rate. Your plan pays them directly, and you just cover your copay
Out-of-network means the provider doesn’t have that contract. You pay the fee at the time of session, the submit a claim to your insurance for partial reimbursement. This practice is out-of-network, so this second option applies
Deductible
The amount you pay out-of-pocket each year before insurance starts reimbursing you. Out-of-network deductibles are usually higher than in-network ones.
Coinsurance
Once you've met your deductible, your plan reimburses a percentage of each session (often 50–80%, though this varies by plan) and you cover the rest.
Out-of-Network Maximum
The most you'll pay out-of-pocket in a year for out-of-network care before your plan covers 100% of the allowed amount.
Superbill
A receipt with diagnosis and billing codes that you submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I provide these after each session — you handle the submission.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance
Call the number on the back of your card and ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What's my out-of-network deductible, and how much have I met?
What percentage do you reimburse after that?
What's my out-of-network out-of-pocket max?
Is there a session limit per year?
If you have any question, let me know!
